About Optimise4

Optimise4 was established in 2009 with the aim of providing clients with the support to develop their business winning strategies. A key part of this was to improve their business capture and tender writing capabilities. Having achieved some significant wins for our clients, we set about building a broader team of high quality associates, each of them bringing their own expertise and domain experiences.

By 2011 the company had secured business from a number of major clients both regional and national. These contracts had extended our experience into broader areas of business consultancy. These included an innovative benchmarking project for the MoD an ‘Atlantkis’ EU Knowledge Intensive Services (KIS) project, delivering a programme of innovation and growth workshops for SMEs. For the first time this allowed a full team of O4 associates to participate, bringing a wealth of cross industry expertise to the solution.

In 2012 a new partner joined from North Spain, bringing a new capability to the team. Marta Martinez who is a expert in opening up new markets in Spain, Mexico and much of the South American region, and had assisted over three hundred companies successfully capture new business in these markets. Optimise4 now had access to new markets for our UK clients outside of the UK and Europe.

In 2012 we built our capability in programme management based around the standard P3M, business modelling, and business change. This has continued to be the primary focus of the business.

In 2013 we were joined by Bill Houldsworth an experience ex Head Teacher who complemented our business capabilities, providing a unique entrepreneurship and enterprise offer for schools and colleges across the UK and Europe. This exciting new offer has continued to open up many exciting projects, which are increasingly becoming a valuable part of the Optimise4 service.

In 2016 the company continues as a small and experienced set of resources focussed primarily on ‘Business Transformation and Programme Management’ projects and supporting local SMEs and Schools and Colleges with mentoring and ‘entrepreneurship’ themed courses for teachers and students.
